No matter the month or year, the most important things to know about children and youth ministry at Trinity are that children and youth of all ages will be accepted for who they are and will be fully integrated into all aspects of ministry. Youth serve as readers and Holy Communion Servers and Greeters. High school youth serve occasionally on church council. Youth help with our congregational service opportunities.
Sunday School
We currently have three Sunday School classes. Three-year-old through Kindergarteners leave worship after the weekly Children’s Message for a short time of learning and relationship building. They return in time to commune with their families. K-6th and 7th-9th classes meet at 8:45 am.
Confirmation Co-op
Trinity partners with a number of other Treasure Valley ELCA Lutheran congregations for Confirmation Classes for 7th-9th graders, which lead to the Affirmation of Baptism rite, normally in the spring of the 9thgrade year.
High School
Trinity partners with other ELCA Lutheran congregations for small group discussions around scripture, books or other topics. Every three years we attend the triennial ELCA Youth Gathering. Our youth also serve the church in a variety of ways based on their gifts and passions
Luther Heights Bible Camp
Trinity sends youth and adults of all ages to this outdoor ministry near the Sawtooth and White Cloud Mountains of Idaho every summer.

Learning Peace: A Camp for Kids
Trinity Lutheran helped create this FREE day camp for youth ages 6-13. Learning Peace will be held July 19-22 at the Hispanic Cultural Center. Registration is open.
