Pet Blessing – October 4th – The “saint day” for St Francis of Assisi falls on a Wednesday this year – a perfect day to gather outdoors on the Trinity lawn and hold a Pet Blessing event. Did you know that, while we think of Francis as the patron saint of animals, he is also considered the patron saint of the environment, merchants, stowaways, San Francisco, and Cub Scouts. So, if you have a pet that would really benefit from getting blessed (or has been a blessing to you), please bring your pet and join us. But if the environment or San Francisco resonates with you, please join us. Or if you are a merchant or were a Cub Scout, please join us. And, if you were ever a stowaway, PLEASE join us – we definitely want to hear your story!! As always, this is a casual gathering and a great opportunity to invite your friends/family members…….especially people who might not yet be ready to visit the sanctuary on a Sunday morning.
