Welcome to Trinity Lutheran Church (ELCA). Whether you are looking for a church home or are just visiting the area and need a place to worship, please come and visit us. We would love to have you join us as we celebrate our relationship with God by hearing God’s Word and singing God’s praises!
Trinity Lutheran Church is an ELCA Lutheran Church that was incorporated in 1947. It moved into its current location at the corner of Midland and Lone Star in 1969 with the present sanctuary being completed in 1982. Serving the community has always been a focus at Trinity. During the 1990s, Trinity dedicated part of its land to Mercy Housing to build affordable housing. In 2015 Trinity acquired the 16 single family homes from Mercy and established Trinity New Hope. Currently, the church has a community garden to provide food for food banks, shelters, and help others in need. The congregation has about 200 members.
Trinity Lutheran is a place to gather, refresh the faithful, and reach out with word and service to all others through the Holy Gospel
Guiding Principles
- God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

- Accept and welcome all people
Nampa Lutherans
There are a variety of Lutheran traditions represented in the city of Nampa. We share a belief in the Triune God, an acceptance of the Lutheran Confessions as the true teachings of biblical faith, the sacraments of baptism and communion, and the belief in justification by grace through faith. Our worship services are also very similar.
ELCA Lutherans believe that the Bible encourages full participation by women in the life of the church and we practice open communion, which means communion is available to everyone.
We are a Thriving Church of the ELCA
This is Christ’s church.
There is a place for you here.
We are the church that shares a living, daring confidence in God’s grace. Liberated by our faith, we embrace you as a whole person–questions, complexities and all. Join us as we do God’s work in Christ’s name for the life of the world.
Meet the Staff

Pastor Meggan Manlove
I grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota and spent many summer days paddling and portaging canoes in the Northwoods of Wisconsin and Minnesota. I graduated from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN and worked at Camp Christikon in Montana during the summers. I spent a year in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Syracuse, NY working at a Catholic Charities neighborhood center. I graduated from the University of Chicago Divinity School and was ordained in 2004. I served a congregation in rural Iowa for six years and moved to Nampa, ID in 2010 to serve as pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church. (Follow these links to hear Pastor Meggan talk about two of her passions: Food Security and Affordable Housing).

Bob Cola, Office Manager
I grew up in Bloomington, Minnesota. After a 21 year career in the US Navy, my family (wife, Sue, and daughters, Angela and Rachel), and I, decided to put down roots and make the Treasure Valley our home. We love it here and have had absolutely no regrets. I am privileged to be working on my 24th year as Trinity’s office manager and have logged enough miles, commuting on my bicycle, to have circumnavigated the earth at the equator. It’s a pleasure to work and interact with so many wonderful people.
